Next PR update

Does anyone know when it's supposed to be the next PR update. Last one was in April and I know Google does this at 3-4 months each but it's Octomber very soon and nothing yet...

We're all waiting for that update believe me...the worst part is that you never know when it happends since it's not schedulled or something...it just does. All we can do is wait and focus on other important things...

Especially....the update is not immediate for all sites and pages...sometime takes also times to propagate across multiple datacenters...so the best thing is to completly forget about when it might happen. Especially because also all ours competitors will get an update too

, sorry the sarcasm....anyway I think a better question is - how less value Google will give to PageRank in the next update?

Yes..this is also very possible...With all the hype that's been arround page ranks and paid links etc. (everything that google is against), they might change algorithms.

And if someone is interested, the update occoured in the past few days.
The most obvious fact is that the iGoogle PR was 4 and now is 6. Differently from other times, it seems that the update was done at the same time (or almost) across websites. At least for my experience....because usually updates were a week long (or more). As expected, for my websites, nothing changed in positioning (to confirm what stated before). But I will monitor the access logs to be sure of it
